Nana's Favorite Scallop Potato Recipe

5 pounds / 2.5 kg | Russet potatoes |
1 1/2 cups / 375 ml | Milk |
1/2 cup / 125 ml | Flour |
1 | Sweet onion |
2 cups / 500 ml | Cheese |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees 1) Wash, peel and slice potatoes. 2) Lightly grease a casserole dish and layer sliced potatoes on bottom of dish, lightly sprinkling a little flour and cheese on top, continue laying potatoes, flour and cheese until you have about 3/4 of the way up the casserole dish. 4) Bake covered for 30-45 minutes depending on the size of your dish. When potatoes are almost done place the remaining cheese on top and leave the cover off. 5) Continue cooking without cover until cheese has browned and potatoes are tender.This potato recipe is brought to you courtesy of Janet Hillier.
