|3 tbsp / 45 ml||Shortening|
|3tbsp / 45 ml||Butter|
|1/2 cup 1tbsp / 140 ml||Cocoa|
|1/3 cup / 83 ml||Mashed potatoes|
|1/8 tsp /||Salt|
|1 tsp / 5 ml||Vanilla|
|1 lb / 500 g||Powered sugar|
|1/2 cup / 125 ml||Chopped nuts(optional)|
Directions1) In a microwave-safe bowl melt shortening and butter in the microwave. 2) Stir in cocoa until smooth. 3) Add potatoes, salt, vanilla and mix well. 4) Blend in powered sugar, mix and add nuts.(dough will be very lumpy) 5) Knead until smooth. 6) Press into a buttered 8x8 inch pan 7) Cool in refrigerator before cutting into squares.
