Gerri's Baked Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
2 lb. / 900 g Frozen hash browns
2 cups / 500 ml Sour cream
2 cans Cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup / 125 mL Melted butter
1 Small onion finely diced
to taste Salt and pepper
1/4 cup / 60 mL Grated parmesan cheese

Directions

Serves 8-10, freezes well and great for buffets. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9x12 Casserole dish. Mix all the ingredients together in a very large bowl. Pour into casserole dish. Cover the top with grated parmesan cheese. Put dish on cookie sheet in case of overflow. Bake uncovered for 1 and 1/4 hours or until top is golden.
