|3 cups / 750 ml||flour|
|2 tbsp / 30 ml||baking power|
|1 1/2 tsp / 7.5 ml||salt|
|4 tbsp / 60 ml||shortening|
|1 cup / 250 ml||mashed potatoes (cold)|
|1 1/4 cup / 313 ml||canned milk|
DirectionsPreheat oven to 400 degrees Combine flour, baking power and salt. Cut in shortening. Add potato and mix thoroughly. Add enough milk to make a soft dough. Roll light to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a biscuit cutter. Brush tops with milk if desired. Bake 12-15 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 12 biscuits.
