Ann's scallop potatoes

Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
4-5 Potatoes, washed and peeled
1 Onion, washed and diced
2 tbsp / 30ml Flour sifted
1/4 cup / 75ml Butter
1 cup / 250ml Milk
Pinch / 1ml Peper
Pinch / 1ml Salt
1/2 cup / 120 ml Sharp cheddar grated cheese
5 strips Bacon

Directions

Preheat the oven at 375 degrees Using a rectangular 5 litre casserole dish Coat the bottom with milk then add a layer of your peeled potatoes then follow with another layer of milk sprinkle a layer of flour, sprinkle a layer of sharpe cheddar cheese and onion, then follow this process until it fills up the dish doing each layer the same then at the top add the sprinkle of peper and salt then lay the uncooked strips of bacon along the top. Place in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until cooked through.
