Potato and Onion Pie

to tastePepper to taste
1/2 cupMilk125 ml
5-6 cupsPotatoes1500 ML
2 thinly slicedOnions2 thinly sliced
to tasteSaltto taste
1/4 cupButter or Margarine50 ml
4 tbspGrated cheese60 ml




Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
1) Wash, peel and boil potatoes.
2) Heat fat in a pan and slightly fry onions over a gentle heat without browning for a minute.
3) Slice cooked potatoes and place on a greased pie plate and cover with a layer of onions and a little cheese and season lightly.
4) Bake for 30-35 minutes.
