MONTHLY WINNER 

Potato Biscuits

3 cups flour750 ml
2 tbspbaking power30 ml
1 1/2 tspsalt7.5 ml
4 tbspshortening60 ml
1 cupmashed potatoes (cold)250 ml
1 1/4 cupcanned milk313 ml




Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Combine flour, baking power and salt.
Cut in shortening. Add potato and mix thoroughly.
Add enough milk to make a soft dough.
Roll light to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a biscuit cutter.
Brush tops with milk if desired.

Bake 12-15 minutes. Serve hot.

Makes 12 biscuits.
